Not only did this bungee cord snap on an Aussie student, but what she landed in a river infested with crocodiles! Blimey! (in a poor Australian accent).

Erin jumped from Victoria Falls Bridge which is approx 110m above a Zimbabwe river, this river is reportedly infested with crocodiles and dangerous rapids. Not only did the cord snap on this girl, but she was then pulled along by the rapids on the river. She then got the remaining bungee cord that was still attached to her leg caught on some rocks and got pulled under the water for a few seconds. Whilst friends of the girl screamed her name from the bridge there was little anybody could of done. Thankfully she was able to free her legs from the remaining bungee cord and swim to some rocks.

I’ve never particularly wanted to do something like this for this very reason, and after watching this I think I defiantly will not be doing anything like this in the future. I think I’ll stick to Web Design thanks.

A very simple but funny prank by the pilot here… Can hear the panic in the camera operator’s voice, and the prankster can only be forgiven by his huge grin when he “comes round” at the end.

So as it’s now just 2 days until Christmas, we thought we’d add another funny Christmas video to get everyone in the festive spirit. We found a great Buddy the Elf funniest moments compilation, with some of the best scenes from the film with Will Ferrell. Unfortunately, the Buddy the Elf funniest moments video has been taken off YouTube as it violates copyright laws, so we’ve had to replace it with the original trailer released in the UK back in 2003.

The Elf trailer still shows some great moments from the film though, and anyone that has seen it will instantly know and remember the jokes from the film. Some of my favourites include the “Saaaaannnntaaaaaa” scene, the loud burp, the snowball fight, and of course the drop kick from the pint sized “Miles Finch” when Will Ferrell refers to him as an Elf.

Merry Xmas everyone!

I know, I know. Another trailer! This is now the third trailer in as many days after not adding any in over a year, however this is a highly sought after film trailer and one that was only release last night. Fans of the Lord of the Rings trilogy and the original book “The Hobbit” have been waiting for this with great anticipation, so, here it is! A 2 minute and 31 second HD trailer of the The Hobbit (2012).

So what are my thoughts? Personally, I think it looks “bobbins”. **gasps** I appreciate that I might be in the minority here, but I found the Lord of the Rings trilogy quite arduous at times, being more something that needed to be endured as opposed to enjoyed just so that you could say you had seen it. It certainly isn’t something I would want to watch again in a hurry. I know that I’m going to get a lot of grief for all this, but it’s simply my own opinion.

The cast however looks pretty epic before, including some familiar faces such as Sir Ian McKellen, Orlando Bloom, Hugo Weaving etc as well as some new faces including Martin Freeman and Stephen Fry. The special effects look pretty stunning too as with all the previous Lord of the Ring films, and I’m guessing a lot of people are going to be very happy and excited when they see this trailer. Although, they still have a bit of time to wait as it isn’t due for release until the 14th December 2012!

I just saw this on Facebook today and thought it was both cute and funny! The video stars a black cat called Stewie soothing baby Connar to sleep by patting him gently on the head. Baby Connar seems to quite enjoy this and he goes from giving out irritable little cries to slowly falling off to sleep with a big smile on his face. The cutest bit is definitely right at the end of the video.

Having an 11 month old baby myself, I would pay good money for a cat like this that could look after the baby and soothe him to sleep while we make up a bottle of milk! Although I have to say, I’m reluctant to show this video to my wife for several reasons:

1. It would remind her how much she likes cats
2. It would remind her how much she likes babies

I’m happy with 1 baby and no pets for now, so I think I may keep this one on the down low… enjoy!

Okay so forgive me, as this is the 2nd film trailer that we’ve added on to this website today, but it simply had to be done. The above is the first full length trailer to be released for the Dark Knight Rises, the epic conclusion to the third Batman film by Christopher Nolan starring Christian Bale. Although this trailer shows considerably more than the first teaser trailer that was released and is nearly twice as long, this does still feel like a bit of a tease as we just see lots of glimpses of scenes and characters. Compared to the 6 minute trailer that came out for the second installment (The Dark Knight), it still leaves a lot to the imagination and has a lot of unanswered questions.

Questions about The Dark Knight Rises trailer

I’ve been following this film quite closely as it approaches release, and the big questions include:

Is Bane (played by Tom Hardy) going to be big enough to fill the shows of the huge steroid enhanced villain from the comic books, and will be suited for the role at all? Personally, I think yes as I trust both Tom Hardy’s acting and the Directing/casting of Christopher Nolan. As for the size issue, Tom looked great in Warrior and although he maybe lacks some height, I think it is a more realistic physique than some fans were expected.

Is Catwoman (not shown in the trailer) played by Anne Hathaway a good addition? Again, although I thought it was an unusual choice, I trust Nolan having delivered two quality films already. Interesting how she didn’t really feature in the Dark Knight Rises trailer however.

Is Morgan Freeman (also not shown in the trailer) in the film? I’ve heard lots of speculation about this, but, according to IMDB he is definitely in the film to continue his role as Lucius Fox.

When is out!? The current date is the 20th July 2012, so keep your diary free!!!

This is so frickin cool. I was a huge fan of the first Expendables film, you can see the original film trailer for the first film here (Expendables Trailer), so when I heard news that they were making a sequel I almost jumped out of my chair! The Expendables 2 trailer is really just a bit of a teaser, as the film isn’t being released until Summer 2012, however there is enough shown to get fans mouths watering at the prospect. The trailer starts off with Bruce Willis speaking to Sylvester Stallone, and he says:

“Barney Ross. You made me a deal. I could have put you in the deepest, darkest hole… but I kept you out because one day, I knew the day would come when you were going to pay me back. And today, is that day”.

The Expendables emblem then appears as the metallic skull, and wings made out of guns and knives builds up, and it then lists the cast for the new movie, which includes:

- Sylvester Stallone (Barney Ross)
- Jason Statham (Lee Christmas)
- Jet Li (Yin Yang)
- Dolph Lundgren (Gunnar Jensen)
- Chuck Norris (Booker)
- Terry Crews (Hale Caesar)

- Jean Claude Van Damme (Jean Vilain)

This film is also the first real comeback film for Schwarzenegger since being Governor of California, and he plays a much bigger part in this film compared to the short cameo in the first Expendables film. Looking forward to this one!

As Christmas approaches and people are in the shops searching for the best Christmas present to get their beloved children some people took on a challenge to get their children the worst presents.

Jimmy Kimmel hosts a late night chat show in America on ABC and he challenged his viewers to find the worst present for their kids and film them opening their christmas presents. The look on some of these kids’ faces is priceless! Some of the kids are quite polite but confused whereas others are really angry to be given a bad christmas present that is not what they wanted.

When we talk about bad christmas presents we are looking at empty juice bottles not a Playstation when the kid wanted a X box! Seeing this on TV is hilarious and the parents are very brave to get their kids something so bad! A lot of people think that this shows the kids are ungrateful but you have to admit you’d be pretty gutted if someone gave you a piece of garbage rather than a present, it is funny that they went to the effort of wrapping them up really nicely though.

I am guessing that most parents gave them a real present after they got the fake present! Definitely a good prank to play on the kids though ha ha!

I’m not a huge fan of seeing people falling in excruciating ways, especially if they involve children, however in this playground bloopers compilation there are some quite funny video clips of people doing some very silly things with playground equipment that made me chuckle.

As expected there are some comical falls off climbing frames and slides, and boys and grown ups trying to be macho by seeing who can go the fastest on roundabouts and swings which ultimately ends in disaster for them, but a cheap laugh for us! There are some involving kids on slides and swings too, but compared to some other clips I’ve seen that really make me wince as opposed to laugh, I think this video is pretty good. Thankfully most of the playgrounds featured in this video seem to have pretty good safety surfaces so people tend to bounce off them as opposed to slamming into the ground when they fall.

R Kelly many different characters in this set of films where he is in the middle of so many issues within his life, getting caught up in other peoples relationships, including his own after a series of one night stands. I quite simply don’t want to give too much away as frankly this is a classic series that everybody should see. It is filled with twists and turns that you’d never expect.
