A very simple but funny prank by the pilot here… Can hear the panic in the camera operator’s voice, and the prankster can only be forgiven by his huge grin when he “comes round” at the end.

This was on Rude Tube the other day on Channel 4 here in the UK, and it stuck long enough in my mind to post it here too.

The simple ones are always the best!

As Christmas approaches and people are in the shops searching for the best Christmas present to get their beloved children some people took on a challenge to get their children the worst presents.

Jimmy Kimmel hosts a late night chat show in America on ABC and he challenged his viewers to find the worst present for their kids and film them opening their christmas presents. The look on some of these kids’ faces is priceless! Some of the kids are quite polite but confused whereas others are really angry to be given a bad christmas present that is not what they wanted.

When we talk about bad christmas presents we are looking at empty juice bottles not a Playstation when the kid wanted a X box! Seeing this on TV is hilarious and the parents are very brave to get their kids something so bad! A lot of people think that this shows the kids are ungrateful but you have to admit you’d be pretty gutted if someone gave you a piece of garbage rather than a present, it is funny that they went to the effort of wrapping them up really nicely though.

I am guessing that most parents gave them a real present after they got the fake present! Definitely a good prank to play on the kids though ha ha!

Definitely one of the meanest pranks I have seen for a while! A flatmate buys his friend a scratch card (I would already be suspicious!), which actually turns out to be a fake winning scratch card that you can buy from Ebay! Before he gives it to him, he hides a camera and positions it where he can catch most of the action. As he friend scratches off the silver foil, he suddenly realises he has won £50,000! His reaction is very funny, and he becomes quite flustered and out of breath. No doubt he is already thinking about clearing his debts, all the things he is going to buy, and maybe even bumping his annuities with the prize money.

His flatmate plays along with the prank for a while before finally revealing his camera. When asked what he’s doing, he simply remarks that he is filming his big moment! He says that the amount will be too big to claim from a normal newsagents, so asks him to read the instructions on the back. As he reads out loud, he realises that he was been well and truly duped. Very, very mean! I think the flatmate deserves at least one hard punch to the face for that?

I could probably start a whole category on “Nikki and John”. I think what started off as small pranks to play on each other started to escalate, and before you know it they were filming their exploits and uploading their prank videos to YouTube. They now have around 158 videos on their YouTube channel and have a huge following. As such they have appeared on UK and US based TV shows including “Pranked” and “Rude Tube”.

In this video, Nikki is the prankster and John is the victim. Nikki buys some fresh red roses and covers them in Cayenne Pepper (this stuff can be spicy!), which is more or less the same colour as the roses. She then gets John to smell the flower, and as he inhales he takes in a huge amount of pepper straight up his nostrils. He then starts to shout things like:

“Why would you do this to me!”

“Oh sh*t, it’s in my eyes!!!”

“Oh it burns so bad, it’s in my sinuses!”

As he starts to wash his face with water, Nikki says “water only makes it worse, try snorting milk”. Unsurprisingly he doesn’t take her up on this offer, but she keeps trying. To see more from Nikki and John, check out their channel on YouTube.

I’ve posted this in our prank videos section of our site, but really I suppose it’s more of an advert. KLM have launched a new economy seating range that is supposed to have a number of comfort options to choose from to make your next flight with KLM as comfortable as possible. To help promote this, they had a display in Manchester Airport where a man was sat seemingly in thin air. This floating man caused a bit of stir, and people where putting their hands under him looking for a transparent perspex box or strings that could be holding him up. Although he is in a seated position, he is leaning way to far back to be able to hold this position unassisted.

The fun bit was when everyone tried to work out how he did it. There were lots of ideas / rumours flying around, such as the use of powerful magnetic fields or even that he was some kind of hologram! Ha! Although I don’t know this for certain, I have heard that there is a metal strip bolted firmly through his shoe and into the stand, that runs up his leg and under his bum. This would be enough to hold him, and would explain why he never actually moves…

A great idea for a launch to get people talking and promote their new product, as I don’t think I would otherwise have heard about KLM personal economy comfort options!

The thing I like most about this video is that it’s the kind of prank I play everyday on my poor wife. I really do torment her at times, and one day it will backfire if I’m genuinely being electrocuted!!! In this video 2 guys are changing a light fitting… well, one of them is changing the fitting while the other watches and eats a banana! Suddenly the guy doing all the work starts screaming like he is being electrocuted, and banana boy literally shits himself so badly that the other guy bursts into laughter. When he realises it was all just a prank, he shoves the banana into his friends face and calls him… well… you’ll see!
